Food
We will be serving up typical festival fare. We've asked back our favorite young soccer players to keep everyone fed. Expect the usual burgers, hot dogs, and grilled cheese, and plenty of water. As always, all of these things will be available at reasonable prices.
We will not be serving alcohol at this event, nor can we provide any facilities for keeping your own brews frosty. You will be entirely on your own. This has everything to do with county regulations, and not because we have a problem with alcohol (we don't).
Camping
This is a camping event. Hence you should bring everything you would for a camping trip:
- Tents, sleeping bags/mats, flashlights, and layers of clothes.
- RamJam will happen rain or shine, so please be prepared in case the day turns out to be a wet one. Conversely, be prepared in case it is hot and sticky.
- RamJam is in May and our pond is treated with BT, so mosquitos aren't much of an issue, but there are still non-biting bugs and ticks.
- Portable grills are allowed, but we discourage starting your own bonfires. We've got that one covered. Trust me.
Facilities
There will be porta-potties/bails of hay. Also, limited running water will be available (no showers).
Parking
Parking is limited and we encourage all to carpool. There will be a $5 charge for any single-person cars.
While there is limited parking on-site, most parking is off-property. There will be shuttle vans running between the parking (within 1/2 mile) and the farm. As long as conditions permit it, you will be able to drop-off people/equipmentat the campgrounds before parking. Sleeping by your vehicle will not be possible, and returning to your vehicle throughout the day will be relatively inconvenient, so make sure to bring anything you need on your person.
Unfortunately, we can not accomodate heavy camping vehicles such as RVs or campers. This is due to overall space limitations and also a lack of good ground that can handle heavy vehicles.
