Ideally there'd be no rules, but we all know how crazy you kids get. In the interest of keeping things somewhat civil.

  • This is a farm, and as a result there are plenty of farm animals nearby, and even a few wild ones. We rely on many of these animals for food and care deeply for them. Please don't feed, pet, talk to, molest, play jai lai with, or eat our birds.
  • We love our farm because it's a beautiful place in the summer. The whole point of RamJam was to share this place with you. Please keep it beautiful so we can keep on sharing it. Throw out your trash. Trashcans and trashbags will be available throughout the grounds.
  • If you aren't in one of the bands, and don't live on the farm, don't try to go in the house. There are a lot of decent reasons for this, but the main one is that we don't want hundreds of people in our house. There will be water and bathroom facilities outside of the house.
  • While they are far away, we do have neighbors, so don't wander off the property.
  • Another feature of the farm is corn fields and barns. None of the barns on the property are structurally sound, so stay out of them. Moreover, the farmer makes his living from the fields, so please stay out of the corn.
  • Dogs: Dogs are permitted if they are leashed and well-behaved. Dogs should always be under your direct supervision, and extra care should be taken to make sure they do not get into anything dangerous or unhealthy (rat poison and animal carcasses are both possibilities). Owners of unruly or unattended dogs will be asked to remove their pet from the property. Likewise, owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
  • Finally, please use common sense. If it seems like a bad idea, then don't do it.

The RamJam staff will be carefully enforcing these rules. Please respect them. Our goal is to be flexible, while keeping everyone safe and happy. While we will do everything to avoid it, individuals who can't play by the rules will be asked (forced) to leave.
